Introducing Evan Gustavsen PT, DPT, Community Liaison

We are so excited to introduce you to our new colleague, Evan Gustavsen PT, DPT. In 2015, she earned dual degrees in Spanish and Biology from the University of Idaho. Evan went on to complete her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree at Chapman University in 2019. She joined our practice in May 2026 as a Physical Therapist and is taking on the role of Community Liaison. She brings seven years of outpatient orthopedic experience to the team.

Work History and Continuing Education

Throughout her career, Evan Gustavsen PT, DPT has pursued continuing education in a variety of orthopedic treatment approaches. Some highlights include Functional Mobilization through the Institute of Physical Art, running analysis and treatment, cervical spine management, and extremity rehab through the Institute of Clinical Excellence. Additionally, she completed specialized training in the BEAR® procedure and helped register her previous clinic as a BEAR rehabilitation provider. She is a lifelong learner who loves providing whole person care tailored to each patient’s goals.

Evan enjoys working with patients of all ages and activity levels. With her personal background in athletics and a passion for movement, she emphasizes proper mechanics, efficient movement patterns, and individualized treatment plans to optimize recovery and performance. Evan has treated all orthopedic conditions, including shoulder pain, back injuries, knee conditions, balance concerns and more. Regardless of the condition, she is dedicated to helping restore her patient’s ability to move with confidence.

Personal Interests

A lifelong Idahoan, Evan is the oldest of three siblings and is proud to call the Treasure Valley home. Evan happily embraces her role as the “fun dog aunt” to her brothers’ dogs. Outside the clinic, she can be found running in the foothills, biking, backpacking, and improving her fly-fishing skills. She has volunteered with Bogus Basin Ski Patrol for seven years and enjoys both downhill and skate skiing. Most importantly, she values time spent with her family and the many lifelong friends who still call Idaho home.
