Maritza joined our team in February, 2026 as our closing-shift Front Desk Coordinator. She attended high school in Stanfield, OR and graduated in 2012. She attended Eastern Oregon University & BSU studying Sports Medicine. She brings a background in both the insurance industry and the health, fitness and wellness space. She is bilingual, fluent in both Spanish & English and is a Certified Pilates Instructor through BODYBAR Pilates & Balanced Body. Maritza enjoys meeting new patients and learning how to work with different insurance companies to assure our patients have a seamless experience getting their physical therapy visits properly covered. 

She grew up working on the family ranch, primarily training racehorses and traveling the western United States. She learned to work with thoroughbred horses from infancy to full maturity, helping treat injuries and assisting her dad with all aspects of their work, both on and off the track. That has led to a passion for helping animals in her off time.

Outside of work, she has a 10 year old cat who loves meeting new people and dogs. She enjoys growing her garden and indoor plant collection. For exercise, she enjoys snowshoeing, hiking, and playing tennis. She also loves baking goodies & sourdough bread, going to BSU games & attending concerts. She has a vibrant social life: taking trips with friends to new or tropical places, enjoying new restaurants, and hosting game nights.
