Jody Thatcher PT, MPT
Jody Thatcher PT, MPT received her Master of Physical Therapy degree from Loma Linda University in 1996. She started her career in Boise practicing in a variety of settings including acute care, home care and outpatient orthopedics. In 2009 she founded Thrive Physical Therapy. This venture was created from her belief that movement is the key to optimal health and wellness.
Throughout her career, Jody has focused on forming relationships based on mutual trust and respect. As a result, she’s had the privilege of knowing most of her patients for several years. Jody enjoys listening to people’s stories, and meeting them where they are in the moment.
In 2016, after 20 years in clinical practice, she transitioned to primarily focusing on business management and development. This change has created positive effects on the business while allowing her to better support her employees. In this expanded role, she enjoys seeing her employees grow and develop. She’s on a quest to offer intuitively perfect service for patients and create a thriving work environment for employees.
Jody Thatcher PT, MPT lives in the North End with her husband, Matt, and their children, Oliver and Bibi. She tries to spend as much time outdoors as possible. You can find her gardening, mountain biking, hiking, and Nordic and alpine skiing. Jody practices yoga, barre and Pilates as part of her weekly routine. Always up for an adventure, she loves to travel and explore wild and remote places with her family.
