Thrive Physical Therapy is excited to be looking for our next Front Desk Coordinator. We are a boutique physical therapist-owned outpatient physical therapy clinic located between the North End and Highlands neighborhoods in Boise, Idaho. About the position:
We are seeking a dynamic & personable team player for the front desk position. Front desk knowledge and experience preferred as well as the ability to work the closing shift. Must have an ability to connect with multiple people each day while assuring administrative tasks are completed with professionalism, timeliness and organization. The front desk coordinator is the first point of contact for our patients. The position is responsible for greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling referrals and ongoing patient appointments, assuring all therapist schedules are filled, completing administrative processing (authorizations and verifications) and managing reports and patient record keeping. We are seeking an individual who is personable and naturally friendly, bright and inquisitive and an excellent communicator. The ability to support patients, answer their questions and lead them in directions to solve issues they may have, is essential.

Your Qualifications:
- Front desk experience in a medical setting preferred but not required
- Must be able to work the closing shift
- Proficient computer and typing skills and software knowledge
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new computer programs
- Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated excellent customer service skills with formal training preferred
- Will embrace inbound and outbound calling
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Able to manage time and prioritize the workflow
- Detail oriented and able to complete administrative tasks with accuracy and proficiency
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and demonstrate a strong work ethic
- A team player who is open to feedback and ideas
- Skilled in simultaneous task completion and prioritization
Job Category:
- This position is 25-30 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to flex hours up to cover vacations for the other Front Desk Coordinator.
- Three Quarter Time (30-34 hours/week) or Part Time (20-29 hours/week)
Wage:
- Hourly: $16-19 starting wage, depending on experience
